Tired of just building an obsidian rectangle and lighting it on fire? YUNG’s Better Portals completely rethinks how you travel to the Nether. Instead of relying on the same old portal recipe, you’ll hunt for Dimensional Rifts hidden deep underground. These rifts feel dangerous and rewarding, like you’ve actually discovered something worth finding.

Once you jump through a Rift, you’re committed. There’s no going back until you find a way. That’s where Monoliths come in. These rare structures spawn throughout the Nether with massive light beams shooting into the sky. They’re impossible to miss and impossible to ignore. The Reclaimer block at the center is your ticket home, but it needs power first. Grab four gold blocks, place them around the Reclaimer, and you’re back to the Overworld.

How It Works

Dimensional Rifts

Spawn at the bottom of the world, pulling you through to the top of the Nether. It’s basically dimension stacking without the awkwardness. Think of it like bringing Hellevators to Minecraft the right way.

Monoliths
