How to Craft a Yellow Banner
Yellow banners are a useful decoration item in Minecraft. You can place them on walls, use them as flags, or customize them with patterns using a loom. They’re also used as a component for making custom shields.
What You’ll Need
To craft a yellow banner you need:
- 6 Yellow Wool
- 1 Stick
Crafting Recipe
Open your crafting table and arrange the materials in a 3×3 grid:
- Row 1: Yellow Wool, Yellow Wool, Yellow Wool
- Row 2: Yellow Wool, Yellow Wool, Yellow Wool
- Row 3: Empty, Stick (center), Empty
Once placed correctly, a yellow banner will appear in the result box. Move it to your inventory and you’re done.
Getting Yellow Wool
If you don’t have yellow wool yet, you can craft it using yellow dye and white wool on a crafting table. You can also find yellow dye by mining sunflowers or dandelions and smelting them with furnace fuel.
Creative Mode
In Creative mode, yellow banners are in the decoration blocks tab. In Java 1.19.3 and newer, they’re also in the colored blocks section.
