What animals does Wildcraft: Untamed Beasts add?

It adds five animals: Black Wild Bear, Grizzly Bear, deer, moose, and wild rabbits. Each has its own behavior and spawns in specific biomes.

Do the bears attack players?

The Black Wild Bear will attack if provoked. The Grizzly Bear is more aggressive. Keep your distance, especially from the Grizzly.

Do I need both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack?

Yes, you need both. The Behavior Pack controls how the animals act, and the Resource Pack handles their models and textures. Activate both in your world settings or they won't work properly.

Does this work alongside other addons?

Usually yes, as long as other addons don't mess with the same spawn rules or entity definitions. If you're running multiple addons, test in a fresh world first.

Wildcraft: Untamed Beasts Addon for Minecraft 1.20 (Bedrock)

Wildcraft: Untamed Beasts is an addon that fills your Minecraft world with actual wildlife. Bears, deer, moose, and wild rabbits spawn naturally across biomes and behave the way you’d expect them to. Vanilla Minecraft’s animal roster has always been pretty sparse, and this one does a solid job of fixing that.

New Animals

You get five new creatures, each with their own behaviors and spawn conditions. Predators hunt prey, prey animals flee, and the ecosystem actually feels like it has some logic to it.

What’s Included

Black Wild Bear – Spawns in forests. Passive unless provoked, then it’ll come after you.
Grizzly Bear – Bigger and meaner than the black bear. Give it a wide berth.
Deer – Passive animals that roam forests and meadows. Good for atmosphere.
Moose – Tall, slow, and imposing. Spawns near water and forested biomes.
Wild Rabbits – Skittish and fast. Different from vanilla rabbits in how they move and react.

How to Install

Download both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack files from the links below.
Tap or open each .mcpack file. Minecraft will import them automatically.
Open Minecraft and create a new world, or edit an existing one.
In world settings, go to Behavior Packs and activate the Wildcraft behavior pack.
Do the same under Resource Packs for the Wildcraft resource pack.
Launch your world. The new animals will start spawning in the right biomes.
