Warp Book adds craftable teleportation books to Minecraft without any mod loader. You save a location, then drop or place the book to instantly jump there. It costs XP to use, so it’s balanced and actually fits into survival play.
Recipes
Set Warp Point Book
8 Books + 1 Ender Eye. Right-clicking this in your hand saves your current location and turns it into a Warp Book.
Multiple Warp Book
4 Nether Stars + 4 Set Warp Point Books + 1 Ender Eye. Stores several Warp Books in a single item so you’re not burning inventory slots on every location you’ve saved.
How to Use
- Craft a Set Warp Point Book (8 Books + 1 Ender Eye).
- Right-click with it to save your current location. It becomes a Warp Book.
- Put the Warp Book in your off-hand.
- Drop the Warp Book (press Q) to teleport to the saved location.
- Alternatively, place it on a lectern and right-click to teleport from there.
Teleporting uses XP. The default rate is 1 XP level per 70 blocks traveled. If you’re short on XP, the teleport fails and you’ll get a message telling you so.
Multiple Warp Book
Once you’ve got a bunch of saved locations, this is what you actually want to use day to day. It’s a bit fiddly to set up but saves a ton of inventory space.
- To add a Warp Book: hold the Multiple Warp Book in your off-hand, hold the Warp Book to save in your main hand, then jump.
- To cycle through saved warps: hold the Multiple Warp Book in your off-hand and jump. The current warp name shows above your health bar.
