Villagecool’s Corruption Addon brings a parasitic plague to your Minecraft world. A virus spreads across every biome, threatening everything in its path. No place is safe, not the Overworld, not the Nether, and definitely not the End.
What is the Corruption?
A corrupted block spreads like a disease across your world. It infects any block type except air, including modded blocks. Watch as the corruption creeps closer to your base, destroying everything in its way.
Entities caught next to spreading corruption will vanish. But the real danger is to you. The longer you’re near the corruption, the more it spreads to your body. Get corrupted 5+ times and the game intentionally crashes, just like the infamous Sonic PC corruption. It’s a feature, not a bug.
Stopping the Spread
The Corruption Bottle
Interact with a corruption block while holding a glass bottle to get the corruption bottle. You can drink it, but don’t expect help. It makes things worse.
The Antidote
Brew the corruption bottle with a fermented spider eye to create the real cure. Drink the antidote to clear one corruption stage. You’ll need multiple doses to stay healthy.

Important Notes
This addon is designed to crash your game when fully corrupted. That’s intentional and part of the experience. Don’t play if your PC can’t handle a forced crash.
Heavy corruption blocks will tank your performance since they’re constantly spreading. The screen shaking is intense, so be prepared. This addon uses player.json, so some other mods may conflict.
Installation Instructions
Download the .mcaddon file and tap it to import into Minecraft. Then activate it in your world settings. Make sure you enable all Experimental Gameplay Options before starting.
