Uncrafting Table Mod
Made a crafting mistake? Built something you don’t need anymore? The Uncrafting Table Mod lets you convert items back into the resources used to craft them. Just drop the item in the table, pay a small XP cost, and get your materials back.
This works for vanilla Minecraft items, modded items, tools, weapons, armor, and even damaged gear. If your item has enchantments, you can recover those too by adding empty books to the recipe.
Features
Uncraft Almost Anything
Tools, weapons, armor, blocks, everything. The mod figures out the recipe and reverses it. Damaged items work too, with different XP costs depending on how much durability is left.
Recover Enchantments
Add empty books to the uncrafting recipe to pull enchantments off items. You get the books back with the enchantments attached.
Configurable XP Costs
Open the config menu to adjust how much XP each uncraft costs. You can also change how damaged items work: recover everything for lots of XP, or get partial resources based on durability.
Works With Other Mods
Compatible with modded items and recipes. If another mod adds an item with a crafting recipe, the Uncrafting Table can break it down.
How to Use
First, craft an Uncrafting Table in a crafting grid (the recipe is simple). Place it down and right-click to open it. Drop your item in the slot and pay the XP cost. You’ll get the ingredients back.
The cost ranges from 4 to 30 XP depending on the item and its condition. If a recipe makes more than one item, you need at least that many copies in the table. Put in extra items and they get returned to your inventory.
Installation
You need Minecraft Forge installed first. Download the mod file, then place it in your .minecraft/mods folder. Restart the launcher.
