Twisting Vines are a decorative block you can find in the Nether. You can’t craft them, so you have to go out and find them in the wild. Grab some shears and you’re good to harvest them.
Where to Find Twisting Vines
You’ll find these in the Warped Forest biome. They’re those green vine-like blocks that can hang down from the ceiling or grow up from the ground. Once you’ve been there a bit, they’re pretty easy to spot.
In Creative Mode
Looking for them in Creative? Here’s where they show up:
- Java Edition 1.16 to 1.19: Decoration Blocks tab

How to Get Them in Survival Mode
All you need is shears and you’re set. Here’s the quick version:
- Head to the Nether and find the Warped Forest biome
- Look for the green vines hanging or growing around you
- Hold shears in your hand
- Hold down left-click (or your platform’s equivalent) on the vines
