Do I need both the behavior and resource pack?

Yes. Download both files. The behavior pack handles the zombie changes and new loot, while the resource pack contains textures and sounds.

Will this work with other zombie mods?

Probably not. This addon modifies zombie behavior directly, so conflicts with other zombie addons are likely. Stick with this one or pick another.

Can I eat the rotten organs?

You can eat some of them, but most taste terrible and aren't worth it. The rotten intestine is worth holding though - it drops random loot.

Do I need Experimental Gameplay enabled?

Yes. Turn on Experimental Gameplay in your world settings or the addon won't work right.

Does this work in multiplayer?

Only in realms or worlds where all players have the addon installed. Single-player is no problem.

What’s Different About These Zombies

Zombie Variants

Multiple zombie types that spawn with different stats: faster, stronger, slower, tiny, or massive
Random clothing and appearance changes
Zombie archers that actually shoot at you
Some variants know how to open doors
They sense you from way further away

Survival Changes

Zombies no longer burn in daylight
Speed tiers: slow, fast, and extremely fast variants
Way more zombie spawns overall (brings back that zombie horde feeling)
Speed variety keeps combat interesting

New Loot System

Dead zombies drop organs now. Most of them aren’t great to eat (for good reason), but some are useful. The rotten intestine is special – hold it and it’ll give you random loot when you open it.

Creepy Leather – craft this in a furnace or campfire to get actual leather
Rotten Meat
Rotten Brain – eating this is NOT recommended
Rotten Heart – really not recommended
Rotten Intestine – hold this and be surprised
Rotten Lung – pass on eating this
Rotten Stomach – skip it
