The vanilla armor trim system lets you customize your gear at a Smithing Table, but it’s limited. You’re stuck with diamonds, emeralds, and a few other basic materials. Trims Expanded Mod opens up way more options, letting you use common drops and unique items as trim materials. That means more ways to make your armor look exactly how you want it.
New Trim Materials
This mod adds 12 new materials you can use for armor trims:
- Coal
- Dragon’s Breath
- Echo Shard
- Enchanted Golden Apple
- Ender Pearl
- Fire Charge
- Glowstone Dust
- Leather
- Nether Brick
- Prismarine Shard
- Rabbit Hide
- Slime Ball
With these materials, you can create armor sets that actually match your playstyle and the resources you have on hand. No more grinding just to get the trim you want.
