This addon brings the Trial Spawner and a bunch of blocks from Minecraft Live 2023 into Bedrock 1.20. It’s a concept build, so you get to try out how these blocks look and behave before they officially land in vanilla. A small miniature Trial Chambers structure also generates in caves, so there’s actually something to find and test.
Blocks Added
- Copper Bulb, Exposed Copper Bulb, Weathered Copper Bulb, Oxidized Copper Bulb
- Copper Vent
- Copper Grate
- Tuff Bricks
- Chiseled Tuff Bricks
- Polished Tuff
- Trial Spawner
Block Details
Trial Spawner
The spawner scales to player count. With 1 player nearby it spawns fewer mobs, with 5 it goes full send. Clear all the mobs and it drops a prize. More players means more loot, specifically diamonds and emeralds.
- After dropping loot it enters cooldown for a few minutes. Smoke rising from the top means it’s cooling down, come back later.
- It only activates if there’s moss or ice placed around it. Moss triggers slimes, ice triggers strays.
- More players nearby means it takes longer to start up.
- To test it at max level (5 players), place the spawner then run this command 4 times:
/tag @s remove trial_spawner
Copper Bulb
A light block that oxidizes over time, which cuts its light level. Scrape it with an axe to restore the brightness, or wax it with a honeycomb to stop oxidation. The miniature structure spawns these, so bring an axe when you go exploring.
Copper Grate
See-through and lets light pass through. Good for floors or ceilings where you want some visual depth without blocking light entirely.
Copper Vent
Purely decorative. No special function beyond filling out a copper-themed build.
Tuff Bricks
A polished stone block made from tuff. Generates inside the miniature Trial Chambers and works well for dungeon-style builds.
Chiseled Tuff Bricks
Same base as Tuff Bricks but with a carved pattern. Pairs well with plain Tuff Bricks for textured walls.
Polished Tuff
Smooth version of tuff. Rounds out the set nicely alongside the bricks and chiseled variant.
