Total Tinkers Mod 1.12.2
Total Tinkers is a Tinkers Construct addon that brings back classic weapons from the old 1.7.10 days and adds some brand new ones. If you loved the javelin, battleaxe, cutlass, and dagger from way back, this mod has you covered. Every feature can be turned off in the config if you want to pick and choose.
Weapons
Classic Weapons from 1.7.10
Javelin – The charge mechanic is gone. Instead, you get a medium cooldown between throws so you can spam them a bit but not endlessly.
Battleaxe – Swapped the special ability for berserker mode. You move faster and hit harder, but you take way more damage. Makes for an aggressive playstyle if you’re into that.
Cutlass – Blocking was removed from the game, so this one got reworked. Land a crit and you get a speed burst for a few seconds. The full guard pattern comes from blacksmiths now.
Dagger – The throwing mechanic was removed because it wasn’t fun. New behavior is still being figured out.
New Weapons
Greatblade – Made for taking down big bosses. Instead of raw damage, it deals a percentage of the boss’s max health with each hit, making it perfect for fights with heavily armored enemies. The core pattern drops in the End dimension.
Scimitar – A lighter blade that does less raw damage but applies a stacking bleed effect that refreshes as you hit. It’s built for a different playstyle than the usual quartz builds.
Other Tweaks
Crossbow – Optional setting that adds automatic reload and changes the cursor type. Off by default.
