Where do I find each sword?

Each sword spawns in specific structures. Arrow Slasher is in Jungle Temples and Blacksmith Forges. Disenchanting Saber spawns in Stronghold Libraries and Nether Fortresses. Check each sword's description for its exact locations.

Can I repair these swords if they break?

No. The Eight Fabled Blades can't be repaired or crafted. Once they break, they're gone. You have to find another one.

Do these swords work with normal enchantments?

Some of them. Haymaker works great with Knockback. Others like Shield Breaker don't benefit from most enchantments. Check each sword's abilities to see what works best.

Is this mod compatible with other mods?

Generally yes, but always check the mod page for known conflicts. It's Forge-based so it works with most other Forge mods.

Does this mod work on Minecraft servers?

Yes, but make sure everyone on the server has the mod installed. The swords will generate in structures normally.

The Eight Fabled Blades Mod adds 8 unique swords to Minecraft 1.12.2. Each one has different abilities, damage, and durability. The catch? You can’t craft them or repair them. Instead, you hunt for them by looting specific structures scattered across your world.

Arrow Slasher

Found in: Jungle Temples, Village Blacksmith Forges
Ability: Slices arrows out of the air with 100% accuracy. Completely shuts down bow users.

Disenchanting Saber

Found in: Stronghold Libraries, Nether Fortresses
Ability: 8% chance on hit to strip enchantments from enemies and items in their inventory.

Haymaker

Found in: Dungeons, Abandoned Mineshafts
Ability: Knockbacks enemies way further than normal. Can be enchanted with Knockback for insane knockback power.

Heart Piercer

Found in: Jungle Temples, Desert Temples
Ability: 30% chance to apply Heart Pierced and Armor Pierced effects on hit.

Lunar Edge

Found in: Igloos
Ability: Right click at night to turn invisible and gain Lunar Attunement. Attacking breaks the invisibility but hits apply Shattered Hope to your target.

Shield Breaker

Found in: Desert Temples, Village Blacksmith Forges
Ability: Disables shields longer than any other weapon in the game.

Sword of the Great End

Found in: End Cities
Ability: Every hit applies Interfered effect to enemies you attack.

Sword Slicer

Found in: Igloos, Nether Fortresses
Ability: Damages items in the enemy’s main hand or offhand. Tools and weapons take normal damage, but non-tool items take double. Stackable items can be reduced or destroyed completely.

Status Effects

These special effects only appear when you get hit by the matching sword.

Armor Pierced: Removes 25% armor and armor toughness per level.
Heart Pierced: Cuts health regeneration to 1/10 speed and deals damage over time.
Interfered: Endermen can’t teleport normally. Players can’t use ender pearls.
Lunar Attunement: Lose invisibility when you attack. Your hits apply Shattered Hope.
Shattered Hope: Lowers damage output and attack speed significantly.

Installation

This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Download and install Forge first, then drop the mod file in your .minecraft/mods folder.
