What Minecraft versions work with this resource pack?

The pack has two builds: one for Minecraft 1.8 and 1.7, and a separate one for 1.6. It does not support newer versions.

Do I need OptiFine to use this?

Yes, for 32x packs you need either OptiFine or MCPatcher to load the higher-resolution textures properly. OptiFine is the better option since it also improves performance and adds extra graphics settings.

Why do some textures still look like default Minecraft?

The pack was never fully finished. A few textures are still at the original 16px Minecraft default. The main blocks and items are done, but you will notice some vanilla textures scattered around.

Is this pack still being updated?

No. The last release targets Minecraft 1.8 and the pack appears to be abandoned. It works fine for those older versions but will not receive new updates.

Can I use this with shader packs?

The Star Wars Realistic Resource Pack (also called Interdictor-Texturepack) swaps out vanilla Minecraft textures for ones inspired by the Star Wars universe. It runs at 32x resolution, so things look noticeably sharper than default without destroying your frame rate. Fair warning: it’s not fully complete. A handful of textures are still at the default 16px, so you’ll spot a few mismatches here and there. Still worth using if you’re a Star Wars fan.

What It Covers

The pack focuses on giving Minecraft a realistic, grimy sci-fi look that fits the Star Wars aesthetic. Blocks, items, and environmental textures are reworked to feel more like the films. The 32x resolution gives everything more detail without going overboard on the performance side.

A few textures haven’t been updated yet from the vanilla 16px defaults, so it’s a work in progress. The core stuff looks good though, and it holds up well for its age.

How to Install Star Wars Realistic Resource Pack

This is a 32x pack, which means you need either MCPatcher or OptiFine to handle the higher resolution properly. OptiFine is the better pick. It covers everything MCPatcher does, loads faster, and adds graphics options on top. MCPatcher is fine if you need something that’s updated the same day as a new Minecraft version drops.

Download OptiFine (recommended) or MCPatcher.
If you chose MCPatcher: run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and click “Patch”.
If you chose OptiFine: install it as a mod by opening minecraft.jar and dropping in the class files from the OptiFine zip.
Download the resource pack file below for your Minecraft version.
Open Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder.
Drop the downloaded .zip into that folder, then activate it in the resource pack list.
