Spyglass Improvements Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2) Zoom & More

The Spyglass Improvements Mod makes the vanilla spyglass actually useful. Adds smooth zoom, quick access, custom overlays, and a bunch of quality-of-life tweaks that should’ve been in the game from the start.

What You Get

Zoom Control

Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out while using the spyglass. No more locked zoom level, you can fine-tune how close you want to look at things.

Quick Access

Press ‘Z’ to instantly pull out the spyglass instead of hunting through your inventory. Puts it right in your hotbar or hand whenever you need it.

Custom Overlays

Choose different spyglass overlay styles. Swap between a few visual options to find the one that doesn’t drive you crazy after looking through it for five minutes straight.

Hide the Crosshair

Remove the crosshair while you’re scoped in. Cleaner view when you’re trying to see something far away.

Smooth Camera

Enable smooth camera movement while looking through the spyglass. Makes panning around feel way less jittery.

Installation

You’ll need either Forge or Fabric mod loader installed first. Pick whichever you use for your other mods.
