Spider Queen Reborn flips Minecraft on its head. You don’t play as a human builder. You become the Spider Queen, complete with night vision, wall climbing, and the ability to command an army of custom-bred spiders.
The gameplay loop is simple but satisfying. Catch mobs with web. Cocoon them. Eat them for spider eggs. Hatch the eggs and your spiders gain special abilities based on what they ate. Build a proper army and watch them tear through enemies for you.
What You Can Do
Play as the Spider Queen or King
You can use the actual Spider Queen model or keep your own character skin. Either way you get the same abilities: night vision, wall climbing, web creation, and spider control. You can toggle the mod on and off without uninstalling it, and change your skin whenever you want.
Breed Custom Spiders
Capture any mob by webbing it into a cocoon. Eat the cocooned creature and you get a spider egg. Place the egg anywhere and it hatches into a spider. What creature is nearby when it hatches determines the spider’s type and ability:

Eggs hatch into normal spiders if there’s no special mob nearby. Level up your spiders in combat and they get stronger.
Master Web and Wall Climbing
You naturally generate string just by walking around. Craft three string into web using any crafting grid. Use it to cocoon creatures, climb walls, swing across gaps with the web slinger, or set traps. Poison web damages anything that touches it.
You can generate infinite web by eating normal food. Grab the web slinger and jump to pull yourself in or sneak to drop down.
Command Your Army
Use the Spider Rod to control your spiders and make them follow you. Place it on the ground and they stay nearby. The Recall Rod instantly spawns all your spiders at your location. You can also befriend and command other creatures like bees and villagers.
Manage Your Reputation
Different mob groups track how you treat them. Give zombies brains, skeletons skulls, and creepers hearts to stay friendly. Friendly mobs help you fight. Kill too many and they turn hostile. Creatures with high reputation toward you will voluntarily join your group and fight alongside you.
Use invisibility potions if you need to kill creatures without damaging your reputation with their group.
New Creatures
The mod adds many new mobs:
- Ants – red or black, spawn in caves and dig toward the surface
- Bees – Gatherers, Warriors, and Queens spawn from beehives in trees
- Beetles – hunt and kill bees
- Flies – easy food, right-click to eat them
- Humans – seven types in three richness levels, spawn naturally and in factories
- Jack – emerges from pumpkin patches at night with massive health and powerful attacks
- Mandragoras – plant creatures that boost nearby crop growth when friendly
- Mini Ghasts – hatch from ghast eggs, you can ride them to fly
- Spider Queens – hostile boss mobs that are very tough, spawn rarely
- Wasps – common and aggressive, drop stingers
- Yuki – spawn in snowy biomes during snowfall, freeze you solid with a freeze rod
Factories
Rare structures spawn in plains, savannas, and deserts. They’re filled with humans and imprisoned mobs from various creature groups. Break in, loot them, and free the prisoners for huge reputation boosts.
