Reflections Map 1.12.2, 1.11.2 for Minecraft

A 5-level puzzle map where all the blocks are invisible. Solve each room using wall reflections alone. Challenging, creative, and worth downloading.

Reflections is a puzzle map by Rockshield with a genuinely clever twist: all the blocks are invisible. You can only see their reflections on the walls, and you have to use those to figure out what’s there and solve each puzzle. It’s one of the more original map ideas out there, and it’s actually difficult.

About the Map

There are five levels, each built entirely around the reflection mechanic. The map assumes you already know how Minecraft puzzle maps work. If you want something that holds your hand, skip this one. If you want a map that makes you stop and think, it’s worth the download.

Each level is carefully constructed so the wall reflections give you just enough information to work with, without making it obvious. Getting through all five will take some patience.

Rules Before You Play

  • Only use Minecraft 1.12.2 or 1.11.2. Other versions will likely break the map.
  • No cheating. The whole point is not knowing where the blocks are, so cheating ruins it completely.
  • Set Render Distance to 12 or higher. The reflections won’t display correctly on lower settings.
