Mining gets boring. You’ve seen the same ores a thousand times, and it starts to feel more like a chore than actual fun. Randomite Classic fixes that. This mod adds a new randomized ore block that spawns underground and drops random materials when you break it. Instead of knowing exactly what you’ll get, you get something unexpected. It makes mining feel rewarding again and keeps you coming back to the mines.

Randomized Ore Block
The core feature is straightforward. A new ore spawns deep underground. When you mine it, you don’t get a predictable drop. You get a random material instead. Could be coal, copper, iron, diamonds, or something else entirely. The randomness makes every mining trip feel fresh.
How to Install
What You Need
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Download Forge for your Minecraft version from the official Forge website.
Installation Steps
- Install Minecraft Forge for your version
- Download the Randomite Classic mod file below
- Find your .minecraft folder (search for it in your file explorer)
- Open the mods folder. If it doesn’t exist, create a new folder called “mods”
- Put the mod jar file into the mods folder
- Launch Minecraft using the Forge profile
- Load a world and the mod will be active
