Progression Craft is a Bedrock addon pack that completely changes how you progress through Minecraft survival. Instead of immediately crafting everything, you’ll unlock recipes step by step as you advance through different ages. Starting with basic hand tools and wooden crafting tables, you’ll work your way up to steel and advanced machinery. It’s inspired by SevTech but built specifically for Bedrock’s limitations with its own unique systems.
The pack includes 22+ community addons blended together with new progression mechanics. You get a quest book that guides you through each age, so you always know what to work on next. Just don’t lose it.
What You Get
Four Ages of Progression
Age 1: New Beginnings starts you off with absolutely nothing. You’ll collect resources, learn to use a chopping block instead of instant crafting, and work toward creating leather to unlock mining. The progression feels slow at first, which is the point.
Age 2: Primal Age opens up ore mining and introduces magic. You’ll craft copper, tin, and zinc into bronze, then face your first boss fight to get heat for smelting. Magic spells become available here too.
Age 3: Machinery Age is where things get big. You’re mining iron and gold, building manual machines with hand cranks, then moving into actual electrical machinery. You’ll craft a coal generator, build pumps, refine oil, and eventually create the equipment needed to smelt steel in a bloomery. Another boss fight gets you a soul for upgraded spells and weapons.
Included Addons
This pack combines Strat’s Food Expansion, TT’s Copper and Steel, Almost Vanilla, Nature’s Spirit, multiple crop and plant addons, Leather Tanner, Fuel Overhaul, Llama’s Forge, Soul Magic, Advanced Machinery, Rocks+, Redone Natural Structures, Back To Basics, Toast’s Engineering 2, Revamped Mobs, Magical Spells, Tinkerers Legacy, TerraEnhance, Create, Basic Machinery, and Dynamic Lighting. That’s a lot of content working together.
How It Works
You start with a quest book. Follow it. The book unlocks recipes as you complete each stage. Early on you’ll use tools like a chopping block to process wood instead of just clicking a crafting table. Making leather requires you to actually set up barrels, a drying rack, and do the tanning process. It’s more involved than vanilla Minecraft.
Later you’ll build mechanical systems with hand cranks, then electrical machines powered by coal generators. Oil refining, pressing, freezing, crushing. There are a lot of steps between raw materials and finished products.
Installation
Download both the Behavior and Resource packs, then follow our standard addon installation guide for Bedrock Edition.
Required Experimental Settings
- Holiday Creator Features (required for addon basics)
- Custom Biomes (for the new terrain generation)
- Upcoming Creator Features (used by many addons)
- Molang Features (required for machinery)
World Setup
- Render Distance: 10-20 chunks (depending on your device)
- Turn on Starter Chest for a helping hand and your first quest book
- Simulation Distance: as high as you can handle without lag
When updating to a new version, delete the old one first and activate the new one cleanly.
Troubleshooting
If you don’t see structures spawning, some Bedrock versions don’t render addon code the same way. Activate the “Craftable items” option in the Behavior Pack settings to get the essentials manually.
Mixing addons from different versions can cause entity bugs and unexpected errors. Stick with what comes in the pack for best results.
