Possessed Mod 1.10.2 lets you wear a Possessive Hat to take control of mobs and steal their abilities. Put on the hat, charge it up by killing mobs, then sneak-click on any creature to possess it. You get their powers, their look, everything. The catch? You also get their weaknesses. If a mob burns in sunlight, so will you. Other monsters see right through the disguise too, so don’t expect a free pass through a zombie horde.

How the Possessive Hat Works

The hat is expensive to craft, and for good reason. You need serious resources to make something this powerful. Once you’re wearing it, a charge bar shows up at the top of your screen. The bar fills automatically when you’re not possessing anything. Kill mobs to speed up the charging – each kill adds about 20 seconds. At max level, the charge lasts 5 minutes straight.

Possessing a Mob

To possess a mob, sneak and right-click on it while wearing the Possessive Hat. Your inventory swaps with the mob’s inventory, but it all comes back when you return to normal form. Different mobs have special abilities when possessed. Endermen can teleport. Creepers can… well, you know. Press C to stop possessing and return to your body.

What You Need

Possessed Mod 1.10.2 requires Minecraft Forge. Install Forge for your version before adding this mod.

Installation

Download the mod file below and place it in your .minecraft/mods folder. If the folder doesn’t exist, create it. Launch the game with your Forge profile and the mod loads automatically. No other setup needed.

Compatibility

Possessed Mod 1.10.2 works with most other mods. It doesn’t override core mob behavior in ways that break other modifications, so adding it to a modded setup is usually safe.
