Ever wanted to catch Minecraft mobs like you’re playing Pokemon? The Pokeball Mod by grim3212 lets you do exactly that. Throw a Pokeball at any mob to capture it, then throw it again to release it back out. It’s a fun way to wrangle mobs without actual taming.
What Does Pokeball Mod Do?
This mod is pretty straightforward. Craft some Pokeballs, find a mob, and throw a ball at it. The mob gets captured inside. Throw it again and the mob pops back out. Works on any mob you throw it at, though you’re not actually taming them like wolves or cats. It’s pure capture and release.
Crafting Pokeballs
You’ll need coal to craft Pokeballs (not charcoal, actual coal). The exact recipe is easier to check in-game if you install Just Enough Items for Forge or Roughly Enough Items for Fabric.
