Does this mod affect Piglin Brutes too, or just regular Piglins?

Both. Regular Piglins and Piglin Brutes get fire immunity. Neither will take damage from fire or lava.

Will Piglins still turn into Zombified Piglins when they come to the Overworld?

Yes. This mod only changes fire resistance. The zombification mechanic when Piglins enter the Overworld works exactly the same as vanilla.

Does Piglin Safety Mod work with other Nether mods?

Generally yes. It only modifies the fire immunity property on Piglins and Piglin Brutes, so it's unlikely to conflict with most other mods. Check for any specific incompatibilities if you run a large modpack.

Is there a Fabric version available?

Yes. There's both a Forge and a Fabric version available for Minecraft 1.17.1 through 1.20.2. The 1.16.5 build is Forge only.

Piglin Safety Mod (1.20.2, 1.19.4) - Fire Immunity for Piglins

Piglins and Piglin Brutes are supposed to be at home in the Nether, but in vanilla Minecraft they can die to fire just like any other mob. This mod fixes that by giving them full fire immunity. No more watching a Piglin you just bartered with walk into lava and drop your gold.

What Piglin Safety Mod Does

It adds the “Fire Immune” property to Piglins and Piglin Brutes. That’s it. They stop taking damage from fire, lava, and flames. Simple change, but it makes the Nether feel a lot more consistent. Piglins live there. They should be able to handle the heat.

How to Install

Download and install Minecraft Forge or Fabric, depending on which version you want.
Download the mod file for your Minecraft version from the links below.
Drop the .jar file into your .minecraft/mods folder.
Launch Minecraft with the Forge or Fabric profile. Done.
