Pam’s Simple Recipes is a lightweight mod that fills gaps in Minecraft’s vanilla recipes. It adds crafting and smelting recipes for items that normally don’t have them or are annoying to make, like saddles and horse armor. Great if you want a more complete crafting system without overhauling the entire game.
What You Get
This mod adds straightforward recipes for common items you’ll actually want to craft.
Crafting Recipes
- Saddles in two versions, easy and hard
- Horse armor in iron, gold, and diamond
- Dyes from pumpkins and flowers
- Sticks from bones and saplings
- Flint from gravel
- Name tags
- And various other useful recipes
Want to see everything the mod adds? Install Just Enough Items if you’re using Forge, or Roughly Enough Items for Fabric. These let you browse recipes directly in game.
Smelting Recipes
The mod also adds smelting recipes to turn items like rotten flesh and sandstone into useful materials.
What You Need
You’ll need Minecraft Forge to use this mod. Some older versions work with Fabric as well.
How to Install
- Install Minecraft Forge or Fabric for your Minecraft version
- Download the mod file from the links below
- Place it in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch Minecraft and play
