Ore Detector Addon for Minecraft 1.19
Mining in Minecraft 1.19 just got easier. The Ore Detector addon finds ores in the new cave systems without needing X-ray cheats. It’s perfect if you want to speed up mining on survival worlds or SMPs without feeling like you’re cheating. Just download, install, and start finding ores faster.
How It Works
Hold any pickaxe in your main hand and place a compass in your last hotbar slot. The addon will then detect how many mineable ores are around you in a 13x13x13 area. The ore count shows you what’s nearby, based on what your pickaxe can actually mine.
Features
- Detects mineable ores in a 13x13x13 area around your character
- Only counts ores your pickaxe can mine
- Works across all Bedrock Edition devices
- Simple on/off commands for easy control
Setup & Commands
To activate:
- Hold any vanilla pickaxe in your main hand
- Place a compass in your last hotbar slot
- Ore detection turns on automatically
Enable/disable the addon:
/function oreDetection/on/function oreDetection/off
Important Notes
The addon works differently in each dimension:
- Doesn’t detect ores above Y313 or below Y-58 in the Overworld
- Doesn’t detect ores above Y121 or below Y6 in the Nether
- Doesn’t work at all in the End
- Won’t detect ores your pickaxe can’t obtain
Installation requirement: Turn on “Holiday Creator Features” in your world settings before activating this addon.
