Not Enough Recipe Book does one thing: remove recipe books from your game completely. Not just hide the button – actually delete the data. If you’ve played in a massive modpack with a fully unlocked recipe book, you know why this matters.
Run /data get entity @s in a big modpack and you’ll see your entity data flooded with recipe names. It’s messy and it slows things down. This mod strips all that out. Your server and client sync faster. CraftTweaker and KubeJS scripts that read player data perform better. Players join worlds quicker. It’s the kind of small fix that adds up in 300+ mod packs.
