Nock Enough Arrows Mod Overview
Nock Enough Arrows adds 23 new arrow types to Minecraft, each with its own unique behavior. Want arrows that bounce, explode, teleport you, or turn lava into obsidian? This mod has all of that. Most arrows craft at the Fletching Table, so they integrate smoothly into vanilla survival. You also get a new Quiver to store arrows on your person and a golem called the Sputter that shoots arrows at hostile mobs.
Arrow Types
Special Effect Arrows
- Explosive Arrow, Creates a small explosion on impact
- Slime Arrow, Bounces three times when hitting the ground
- Torch Arrow, Places a torch where it lands
- Soul Torch Arrow, Places a soul torch on impact
- Redstone Torch Arrow, Leaves a redstone torch behind
- Party Arrow, Explodes into fireworks after a delay or on impact
- Paint Arrow, Colors blocks or entities it hits, comes in all colors
Utility and Combat Arrows
- Pufferfish Arrow, Spawns a small pufferfish where it lands
- Prismarine Arrow, Weak on land but strong and fast in water
- Hookshot Arrow, Leashes the entity it hits
- Teleportation Arrow, Teleports you to where the arrow lands
- Ink Arrow, Creates a cloud of blinding ink on impact
- Ethereal Arrow, Passes through walls while flying
- Dousing Arrow, Removes fires and turns lava into obsidian
- Blossom Arrow, Applies bone meal effects where it hits
- Drill Arrow, Breaks blocks if they can be broken with an iron tool
- Reinforced Arrow, Stronger and pierces through armor
Advanced Arrows
- Growing Arrow, Gets larger and stronger the longer it flies
- Split Arrow, Splits into 8 arrows flying in different directions on ground impact
- Repulsive Arrow, Makes entities run away from it
- Echoing Arrow, Reveals all entities in the area where it lands
- Seeker Arrow, Homes in on the nearest entity, just aim nearby
- Cupid Arrow, Makes an entity fall in love
- Luminous Arrow, Lights up dark areas, even works underwater
- Whistling Arrow, Creates a sharp sound that distracts enemies
- Message Arrow, Displays custom text as a name tag on the arrow
The Quiver
The Quiver is a new item that holds five stacks of arrows at once. Craft it and equip it to carry way more arrows than your inventory would normally allow. Perfect for long expeditions or fights where you burn through lots of ammo.
The Sputter Golem
Create this new golem by placing a carved pumpkin on top of a barrel. The Sputter holds a full stack of arrows and automatically shoots any hostile mobs nearby or anything that attacks it. You can also dye them to paint their face and customize their appearance.
Installation
Requirements
This mod requires Minecraft Forge or Fabric to run.
Setup Steps
- Install Forge or Fabric for your Minecraft version
- Download the mod file for your version
- Place it in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch Minecraft
Crafting Recipes
Most arrow recipes are done at the Fletching Table. Install Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see all the recipes in-game.
