What is No Telemetry Mod?

No Telemetry Mod does one thing: it disables the telemetry feature that Minecraft started collecting in version 1.18. If you don’t want Mojang gathering your data, this mod is what you need.

Starting in snapshot 21w38a, Minecraft added telemetry that runs whenever you load a singleplayer world or connect to a server. The problem? It sends your XUID (Xbox user ID) in plain text, which means your data can be traced directly back to your account. Mojang never gave players an option to turn it off, so this mod fills that gap.

What Data Gets Sent?

Every time you play, telemetry reports:

Your launcher identifier
Your user ID/XUID (personally identifiable)
Client session ID
World session ID
Game version
Your operating system name and version
Java runtime version
Whether the client or server is modded
Server type (singleplayer, Realms, or other)
Game mode
