What is More Layers Mod?
More Layers adds layered block variants to Minecraft. Instead of full blocks only, you can place partial height blocks on top of each other. This lets you create smooth slopes and terrain transitions that actually look good instead of stepping up and down.
Which Blocks Get Layers?
The mod adds layers for:
- Dirt, Coarse Dirt, Grass, and Grass Path
- Sand and Gravel
- Cobblestone and Mossy Cobblestone
- All tree leaves (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Dark Oak, and Acacia)
How to Use Layers
Right-click a block with a shovel to remove one layer. Shift-right-click on a grass layer to convert it to a grass path layer instead. Hold Ctrl while clicking to modify up to four layers at once.
You can craft layers from full blocks. Just put a block in the crafting table and you’ll get layer blocks.
