What is (M)Ore Addon?
Want more mining options in Minecraft? (M)Ore Addon adds 27+ new ores, crystals, and alloys to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. But this isn’t just another ore mod – each material has its own unique purpose. You get tools, armor, decorative blocks, golems, custom furnaces, and way more than you’d expect.
Features Overview
Overworld Ores
The Overworld gets tons of new materials to hunt for:
- Sulfur: Common ore used for Sulfuric Coal and gunpowder. Good for decoration blocks.
- Tin: Better than Iron. Has armor, tools, and its own Golem.
- Lead: Rare and hard to process. Similar crafting steps to Netherite.
- Electrum: Common ore with a fast and strong Golem.
- Carbon: Pretty useless but still rare. Carbon 37 and 38 variants available.
- Jade: Like Quartz but for the Overworld.
- Aluminum: Common as Tin with similar but different uses.
- Sodium: Copper-like ore with different colors.
- Cesium: Glowing light source better than torches. Great for decoration.
- Rubidium: Armor and tools with explosion resistance.
Nether Ores
The Nether also has new materials to find:
- Manganese: Common Nether ore with one important use.
- Lithium: Works similar to Sodium.
- Potassium: Tools and armor with explosion immunity. Weaker than Netherite but much more common.
- Zirconium: Used only for Lanterns that scare away mobs.
- Onyx: More durable than Netherite but weaker. Better than Diamond though.
- Francium: Explodes when you pick it up. Only lasts a few seconds. Makes explosive tools and TNT. Wear Potassium armor when using these.
Alloys and Crystals
Mix materials together for even better items:
- Duralumin: Most resistant alloy. Made from Manganese, Copper, and Aluminum.
- Bronze: Copper and Tin alloy. Use it to make Statues.
- Rose Gold: Copper and Gold alloy. Less resistant but faster and stronger.
- Turquoise: Nether crystal that’s pretty uncommon.
- Smithsonite: Rare Nether geode.
- Resonite: Only spawns in Warped Forests.
- Jasper: Overworld crystal for making Artifacts with special effects.
- Diamond Obsidian: Another way to get Diamonds.
- Pearl: Ocean ore used just for decoration.
- Crystal Diamond: Diamonds you can turn into cut variants.
Extras
Lanterns and Chains: 7 metals get their own Lanterns and Chains: Tin, Manganese, Aluminum, Rose Gold, Bronze, Sodium, and Lithium.
Golems: 13 metals have Golem heads for creating Golems: Electrum, Aluminum, Bronze, Tin, Rose Gold, Carbon, Cesium, Lithium, Sodium, Rubidium, Potassium, and Duralumin.
TNT: Lithium, Cesium, and Sodium all have TNT variants. Lithium is weakest, Cesium is strongest.
Custom Furnaces: Three special furnaces that work instantly. Tin smelts stone smoothly. Aluminum smelts raw ores and ore blocks. Bronze smelts food and gives 2x more.
Artifacts and Bundles: Jasper Artifacts give special effects. Bundles made from 4 elements protect your items.
Special Foods: Aluminum and Rose Gold Apples, Carrots, Beetroot, and Sweet Berries.
Calm Quartz: Made from Turquoise. Gives special effects and removes some effects.
Smithsonite Rings: Hold these in your off-hand for special effects.
Tools and Armor
Even with 20+ new ores, only 8 get tools and 7 get armor. Most focus on their special abilities instead. Onyx is the only one that’s just tools and armor with no special powers, but it’s still better than Diamond.
