Modern Warfare 2 Resource Pack 1.5+

Modern Warfare 2 Resource Pack brings a fresh look to Minecraft with custom textures for all the blocks added in the Frostburn update. If you want your game to look different without installing a full shader, this is a solid choice.

What’s Included

This pack retextures blocks and updates sounds to fit the Modern Warfare 2 theme. All the new blocks from Frostburn are covered, so nothing will look out of place when you’re building. The textures are designed to look good without destroying your FPS.

How to Install

You’ll need either OptiFine or MCPatcher to run this pack properly (it’s 32x resolution and higher).

Using OptiFine (Recommended)

1. Download OptiFine from our site
2. Install OptiFine by opening minecraft.jar and placing the .class files from OptiFine’s zip inside
3. Download the Modern Warfare 2 Resource Pack
4. In Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs and click “Open Pack Folder”
5. Drop the resource pack file into that folder
6. Restart Minecraft and activate the pack

Using MCPatcher

1. Download MCPatcher
2. Run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and click “patch”
3. Follow the OptiFine steps above starting at step 3

OptiFine is the better choice. It includes everything MCPatcher does and speeds up the game a lot. MCPatcher gets updated faster though, so grab that if you need something working right now.

Compatibility

Works with Minecraft 1.5 and higher. OptiFine and MCPatcher are both supported. The pack will work in vanilla Minecraft but you won’t get all the features.
