Modern LWC Plugin [1.8.9-1.12.2] – Block Protection

Modern LWC is the go-to block protection plugin for Minecraft servers. It’s an updated version of the classic LWC plugin that lets you lock chests, doors, furnaces, and just about any container block. Running a multiplayer server? Features

Block Protection

Lock down chests, doors, furnaces, dispensers, droppers, and other container blocks. Once you protect a block, only you and whoever you allow can access it.

Multiple Protection Types

Modern LWC gives you options for different situations:

• Private: Only you access it. Add other players or groups if needed.
• Public: Anyone can use it, but only you can break or modify it.
• Password: Set a password. You have to type it in every time you log in.
• Donation: Let other players put items in, but they can’t take anything out.
• Display: Players can view what’s inside but can’t touch anything.

Database Support

Supports SQLite and MySQL. Choose whatever works best for your server setup.

Permission Control

Set detailed permissions to control who can access blocks, who can modify protections, and who can remove them.

Commands

• /cprivate – Create a private protection. Only you access it unless you add others. Aliases: /lock, /lwc -c private
• /cpublic – Create a public protection. Anyone can use it but only you can modify or break it. Aliases: /lwc -c public
• /cpassword – Protect a block with a password. You enter the password every login. Aliases: /lwc -c password
• /cdonation – Create a donation chest. Players can put items in but not take them out. Aliases: /lwc -c donation
• /cdisplay – Create a display protection. Players can see inside but can’t modify it. Aliases: /lwc -c display
• /cdefault – Set a default player to be added to all your future protections.
• /cmodify – Add or remove players from an existing protection. Aliases: /lwc -m
• /cremove – Remove protection from a block. Aliases: /unlock, /lwc -r
• /cunlock – Unlock a password-protected block. Aliases: /lwc -u
• /cinfo – Punch a protection to see who owns it and who has access. Aliases: /lwc -i
• /climits – Check how many protections you own and how many more you can create.

Installation

Modern LWC is a server plugin, not a mod. Drop it in your plugins folder and you’re good to go.

1. Download the .jar file for your Minecraft version
2. Put it in your server’s plugins folder
3. Restart the server
4. Configure the config file if needed
