Mobile Base Mod

Ever wanted to bring your base with you while exploring? Mobile Base Mod lets you pack up a tent and take your workshop, storage, and crafting stations anywhere in your Minecraft world.

The core mechanic is simple: place down a tent as an 8×8 structure, then build inside it like you would in any base. Add chests, furnaces, beds, hoppers, and redstone circuits. When you’re ready to leave, break the center pole and the entire tent collapses into a portable item that remembers everything inside. Set it up again whenever you need it.

How It Works

Tents save their contents automatically. Breaking any block that’s part of the tent structure will cause it to collapse, but only breaking the middle pole saves what’s inside. Break any other part and you lose the contents. This makes the center pole the critical piece to remember.

Version 2.0 introduced custom tents using blueprints. Instead of just the default tent, you can create and load your own tent designs with the Tent Builder. The mod comes with a tutorial video showing how to set up custom blueprints.

Installation Guide

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge
2. Download the Mobile Base Mod file
3. Navigate to your .minecraft folder, then open the mods folder (create it if it doesn’t exist)
4. Drag and drop the downloaded .jar file into the mods folder
5. Launch Minecraft through Forge and enjoy

• Removed crafting tents feature
• Changed how tents save their contents
• Updated tent breaking mechanics. Now you must break the center pole to save contents. Breaking other tent blocks will make the tent collapse without saving.
