Minecraft 1.7.3 Snapshot 13w48b
Snapshot 13w48b is here to fix bugs before the 1.7.3 pre-release drops this Thursday. The full 1.7.3 release will follow next week.
This snapshot includes safe minecarts, notch shaders support, early 1.8 development prep, and streaming fixes. If you’re testing new features, grab this build.
What’s New in 13w48b
Safe Minecarts
Minecart improvements make them behave more predictably. Less flying off the rails.

1.8 Development Shift
The launcher is preparing for 1.8 features behind the scenes. Don’t expect to see them yet, but the groundwork is being laid.
