Minecraft 1.19 Pre-Release 1 is here with some solid gameplay improvements. This update focuses on mob behavior, swamp generation, and the new vibration system. If you’re testing snapshots, this one’s worth checking out.
What’s New in 1.19 Pre-Release 1
Mob Spawning Changes
Endermen, Skeletons, Wither Skeletons, and Piglins now spawn in a wider range of light levels in the Nether. They’ll appear from light level 0 to 11, giving you more variety in where you encounter these mobs underground.
Mangrove Swamp Balance
The number of Mangrove trees in Mangrove Swamps has been slightly reduced. This improves exploration and makes these biomes less dense overall.
Vibration Mechanics
Item interaction vibrations now emit when you start or finish using items with start and finish states, like bows, crossbows, goat horns, shields, and food. These vibrations are ignored when sneaking, so you can stay quiet if you need to.
Sound Effects
Placing non-armor items in your headwear slot, like pumpkins and skulls, now plays a generic equip sound instead of armor sounds.
How to Install
