Minecraft 1.16 Snapshot 20w15a is here with some major additions to the Nether. You’re getting a new biome called Basalt Deltas, new blackstone blocks, soul campfires, and three fresh Nether music tracks.
What’s New in 1.16 Snapshot 20w15a
Basalt Deltas Biome
The Nether gets a brand new biome. Basalt Deltas are remnants of old volcanic eruptions, packed with towering basalt columns and lava flows. When you walk through, you’ll see white ash particles falling around you. Magma Cubes spawn here really frequently, so it’s their new home.
Blackstone Blocks
A new block called Blackstone appears in large patches in Basalt Deltas. You get a few variants to work with: regular Blackstone, polished Blackstone, and polished Blackstone bricks. There’s also Gilded Blackstone, which has gold flecks and drops gold nuggets when you break it. You can craft furnaces and stone tools with Blackstone too.
Soul Campfires
Soul Campfires are the new way to warm up in the Nether. They burn with the heat of a thousand souls, apparently. Perfect for setting the mood in your base.
Nether Building Blocks
More options for building in the Nether with chiseled Nether bricks, cracked Nether bricks, and quartz bricks added to the mix.

How to Install Minecraft 1.16 Snapshot 20w15a
