Mhafy’s Ship Addon (1.20, 1.19) – Minecraft Bedrock Add-on

Download Mhafy's Ship Addon for Minecraft 1.20 and 1.19. Build functional ships with wheels, floating points, and detailed interiors. Free for Bedrock Edition.

Mhafy’s Ship Addon adds fully functional, explorable ships to Minecraft Bedrock. Build custom vessels with working wheels, cabins, and decks. Everything is placed and controlled through simple mechanics that feel native to the game.

What You Get

This addon introduces a ship system that actually works. You build the ship yourself using supported blocks, then place a ship wheel to bring it to life. The ship becomes a single entity you can sail around, complete with interior spaces and multiple seating options.

Ship Components

Ship Wheel
The core of your ship. Place it anywhere in your structure, then interact with it to activate the ship. This makes all connected blocks move as one unit.

Floating Point
Controls how deep your ship sits in water. Place these below the ship wheel to adjust buoyancy. You can add multiple floating points for fine control over how your ship displaces water.

Seats
Multiple wooden seat variations including cushions. Available in oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, bamboo, crimson, and warped wood.

Building Your Ship

Ships can only be made from specific blocks. You get a pretty good selection including all planks, wool, glass, logs, crafting stations, furnaces, storage blocks, and more. Your ship needs at least 5 blocks but can’t exceed 512 blocks total.

All blocks must be connected together. Unconnected pieces are ignored and won’t move with the ship.

How to Use

  1. Build your ship from valid blocks (see the list below)
  2. Place a ship wheel anywhere in the structure
  3. Tap or right-click the wheel to activate the ship
  4. You’ll automatically mount facing the wheel
  5. Jump or sneak to dismount
  6. The ship rotates to the nearest cardinal direction when you exit

Valid Blocks

Planks of any type, wool blocks, crafting tables, cartography tables, fletching tables, smithing tables, furnaces, blast furnaces, smokers, bookshelves, looms, note blocks, glowstone, jukeboxes, redstone lamps, sea lanterns, nether wart blocks, warped wart blocks, logs and wood (stripped or not), glass and stained glass, pumpkins, moss blocks, frogtights, single chests, barrels, fences, slabs, ladders, stools, and cushion seats.

Installation

Download the .mcpack or .mcaddon file and open it to import into Minecraft. Activate the addon in your world settings. You’ll need Experimental Gameplay turned on.

This addon works on all Bedrock Edition platforms: Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox One, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Compatibility

Mhafy’s Ship Addon supports Minecraft 1.19 and 1.20 on Bedrock Edition.
