Lucky Block Spiral Mod 1.8.9 is an addon for Lucky Block Mod that adds about 150 new drops and modifies 50 default ones. If you want more variety in your lucky blocks, this addon is worth grabbing.
The addon includes normal spiral blocks plus lucky and unlucky versions. You also get new world generation features like spiral dungeons with bosses, procedurally generated lucky towers, and other structures that spawn naturally in your world.
What You Get
Spiral Dungeons
Full dungeons with bosses and hidden rooms that spawn in your world as part of the natural generation.
Lucky Towers
Procedurally generated towers that build themselves as you move up. They’re random each time, so you never know how tall they’ll be.
Structures and Decorations
Chest pedestals, spiral towers, and more structures spawn naturally. Astral creepers rain from the sky too (they’re not scary, despite how they look).
Custom Items and Armor
Find custom spiral lucky armor sets if you’re lucky. There’s also a spiral sword and other custom items scattered throughout.
Installation
- Install Minecraft Forge
- Download the mod file below
- Put it in your .minecraft/mods folder
- Launch Minecraft
This mod requires Lucky Block Mod and Loot++ Mod to work. Install those first if you don’t have them.
Viewing Recipes
Use Just Enough Items (Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (Fabric) to see all the crafting recipes. The recipes are in the mod but hard to find without a lookup tool.
Customize World Generation
Don’t want the structures spawning? You can turn it off or modify it.
Open the addon file and find config/world_gen/surface.txt. To understand what the settings do, check Loot++/world_gen.cfg in your config folder. Delete surface.txt entirely if you want no world generation at all.
Super Lucky and Unlucky Blocks
You can’t get super lucky or super unlucky blocks through creative mode in the current version. Use these commands instead:
Super Lucky:
/give @p lucky:lucky_block_spiral 1 0 {Luck:80}
Super Unlucky:
/give @p lucky:lucky_block_spiral 1 0 {Luck:-80}
Want a stack? Change that 1 to any number up to 64.
