What is Lime Terracotta?
Lime terracotta is a bright yellow-green building block in Minecraft. It’s useful for decoration and terraforming. The block is durable and doesn’t burn in lava, making it great for structures in hot biomes.
Where to Find Lime Terracotta
Creative Mode
In Creative mode, lime terracotta is in the building blocks tab (or colored blocks tab in versions 1.19.3+).
Finding in the World
You won’t find lime terracotta naturally spawning. You need to craft it or get it from the creative inventory.
How to Craft Lime Terracotta
What You Need
- 8 Terracotta blocks
- 1 Lime Dye
Crafting Recipe
Place the terracotta in a 3×3 crafting grid like this:
- Row 1: Terracotta, Terracotta, Terracotta
- Row 2: Terracotta, Lime Dye, Terracotta
- Row 3: Terracotta, Terracotta, Terracotta
This creates 8 lime terracotta blocks. The lime dye goes in the center of the grid. Move the result to your inventory and you’re done.
Getting Lime Dye
You can make lime dye from two ingredients:
- 1 Green Dye + 1 White Dye
Or find it on witches that drop dyes when they die.
