Torches are ugly. Glowstone scattered everywhere looks even worse. The Lights Mod fixes Minecraft’s boring lighting by adding wax candles, hanging lanterns, and shadow glass that actually fit your builds.
What’s Included
Wax Candles
Craft candles from wax and string instead of coal. Place them on candlesticks or anywhere you want. They react to movement around them, making your base feel more alive than plain torches ever could.
Hanging Lanterns
Mount lanterns on ceilings and walls to light up your build. They look clean and fit any style. Combine them with candlesticks for a better decorative effect.
Shadow Glass
A new glass block that handles light better than regular glass. Great for builds that need cleaner lighting control.
How to Install
- Download and install Minecraft Forge for your version.
- Download the Lights Mod jar file below.
- Open your .minecraft folder and go to the mods folder (create it if it doesn’t exist).
- Drop the mod jar into your mods folder.
- Start Minecraft and play.
