The Level World Border Data Pack ties your world border directly to your experience level. The higher you level up, the more space opens up for exploring. Lose levels and the border shrinks back down. It’s a simple mechanic that gives purpose to leveling up and pushes you to explore more of your world.
What It Does
This data pack creates a dynamic world border that syncs with your XP level. Here’s how it works:
- Border expands 1 block per level. Every time you level up, your world border pushes out one more block.
- Border shrinks when you lose levels. The border contracts if you drop levels.
- Spawns you at 0,0. The world spawn and border are centered around the origin coordinates.

Version Compatibility
This data pack works on Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, and 1.19.4. It won’t work on older or newer versions without modifications.
