Just Another Structure Data Pack

This data pack adds a bunch of new structures scattered around the Overworld. They’re rare enough that you won’t trip over them constantly, but common enough that you’ll actually find them while exploring. Each structure is designed to feel like it belongs in vanilla Minecraft.

What’s Included

Catacombs

Rare structures that spawn in Taiga biomes. They feature a long entrance shaft that drops into a twisting maze full of corridors. Skeletons are everywhere, so bring a good weapon and armor if you want to loot them without dying.

Bastion Outpost

Underground Illager bases that are actually dangerous. You’ll find plenty of Illager mobs roaming around, and some of them are Illusioners. Not a structure for early game players.

Friendly Outpost

Early game structures with villagers and decent loot. They spawn in most biomes and give you a reason to explore. Good for finding initial supplies and trading.

Pirate Ship

You can find actual ships in ocean biomes with pirates on board. More atmospheric than anything, but they’ve got loot if you can clear them out.

Tower

These pop up throughout the world and work as waypoints. They’re not too common, but when you find one, it usually has solid exploration loot. Every tower has a compass and lodestone to help you navigate.

Rustic Church

Small ambient structures that fit into forest biomes. They don’t have much, but they add to the feel of the world.

Installation

This is a data pack, not a mod, so you don’t need Forge or Fabric. Just drop the file into your datapacks folder and load a world with it enabled.
