Tired of waiting around for mobs to spawn in your Bedrock world? Java MobCap Addon brings Java Edition’s mob spawning mechanics to your game. Install it and watch your mob farms actually work, even the ones that only worked in Java like enderman farms.
What Does It Do?
This addon increases mob spawning until your world hits a higher mob cap. More mobs spawn around you means your farms run better and you get drops faster. It works across all dimensions, and each one has its own mob cap.
The addon won’t touch the nether since it already spawns plenty of mobs by default. Use the !mobCapInfo command to check how many mobs are currently in your world.
How It Works
Mob generation speed depends on your simulation distance. Crank it higher for faster and farther spawns. Lower it and spawns slow down but stay closer. Pretty straightforward stuff.
Important Note
This addon creates a ton of mobs, which can lag lower-end devices. If you’re on a mid-range or older phone, you might see performance issues. That’s why Bedrock normally limits spawning in the first place. Works great in multiplayer though.
Installation
Make sure Beta APIs are turned on in your world settings before installing. Then download the .mcaddon file and open it with Minecraft to import it. Activate it in your world settings and you’re done.
