Does this work on Paper or Purpur, or only Spigot?

It works on any server software based on Spigot, including Paper and Purpur. If it supports Spigot plugins, you're good.

Can regular players toggle item frames, or is it admin-only?

By default the toggle commands need permission nodes, so it's admin-only unless you grant the relevant permissions. The ToggleMode commands are designed to be safe to hand out to players since they still respect protection plugins like WorldGuard.

Do invisible frames stay invisible after a server restart?

Yes. The visibility state is saved and persists across restarts.

How do I find invisible frames I've already placed?

Use /ITF Scan with a radius. It spawns particles at every item frame nearby for 6 seconds so you can spot them.

Will this conflict with my protection plugin setup?

The plugin is built to work alongside protection plugins like WorldGuard and GriefPrevention. The ToggleMode commands go through normal protection checks, so players can't modify frames in areas they don't own.

/ITF, shows help and usage
/ITF Toggle Visibility, toggles visibility of the frame you’re looking at (bypasses protection plugins)
/ITF Toggle Glow [Color], toggles glow on the frame you’re looking at
/ITF ToggleMode Visibility, enters edit mode so you can right-click frames to toggle them (respects protection plugins, safe to give to players)
/ITF ToggleMode Glow [Color], same as above but for glow color
/ITF Scan (Radius), spawns particles on nearby item frames for 6 seconds so you can find them

How to Install

Download the plugin .jar file below.
Drop the .jar into your server’s plugins folder.
Start your server and let it fully load.
Stop the server cleanly by typing stop in the console.
Start the server again.
