Why do Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Ctrl+A not work in Minecraft on Linux?

If you play Minecraft on Linux, you’ve probably hit this: keyboard shortcuts in text fields just stop working. Ctrl+C doesn’t copy, Ctrl+V won’t paste, Ctrl+A selects nothing. It’s a known issue and it’s annoying enough that someone made a mod just to fix it. This is that mod.

How to Install

Download and install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version.
Download Fabric API and place it in your .minecraft/mods folder.
