Rotten flesh. That’s what zombies normally drop in Minecraft. Pretty useless. You can’t do much with it besides feed it to wolves if you’re desperate. This mod changes that completely. Extra Zombie Drops makes zombies actually worth farming. Instead of just rotten flesh, you’ll get gunpowder, bones, string, spider eyes, phantom membranes, and even rare drops like ender pearls, carrots, and potatoes. Zombies become a real source of useful loot.
What You Get
Tier 1: Common Drops
Rotten flesh stays the most common drop, so the mod still feels balanced. You’ll always get something from killing zombies, but there’s more to it than just rotten flesh now.
Tier 2: Medium Chance Drops
Gunpowder, bone, string, spider eye, and phantom membrane drop regularly enough that zombie farming becomes worthwhile. These are resources you actually need for crafting and building.
Tier 3: Rare Drops
Ender pearls, carrots, and potatoes have a low chance of dropping. You might not get them every zombie, but when you do, it feels rewarding. Perfect for survival mode when you need those resources.
Why This Matters
In vanilla Minecraft, zombies are basically free XP with useless drops. This mod turns them into a real farming opportunity. If you’re running a zombie apocalypse modpack or just want zombies to be more valuable, this is the mod for it. Pair it with disabled creepers and skeletons if you want pure zombie survival.
