The Caves & Cliffs update raised Minecraft’s world limit to Y=384, giving us taller mountains and deeper caves. But what if that’s still not enough? Expanded World Mod takes it further by pushing the height limit up to Y=512, with the floor dropping to Y=-128. That gives you 640 blocks of buildable height total. More room to build, more caves to explore, more possibilities.
This mod doesn’t just stretch the world up. It fills the new space with custom cave systems designed for different biomes, plus new terrain features and vegetation that make the expanded areas feel alive instead of empty.

Custom Cave Systems
New cave generation for ice, snow, desert, jungle, swamp, and badlands biomes. Each type is tailored to its environment so caves feel natural rather than copy-pasted.
Structures
Custom vanilla-style villages, swamp huts, and pillager outposts spawn throughout the expanded world. Biome-specific features like fallen trees in forests and taigas, new vegetation in swamps and birch forests.
