Engineers Delight Mod Overview

Engineers Delight is a Forge mod that adds a bunch of useful tools for crafting food, processing crops, and making custom fluids. If you like farming mods or want more things to do with your farm output, this one’s worth checking out. It works alongside Immersive Engineering, Farmers Delight, and regular vanilla crops.

The mod focuses on three main areas: food production (cutting, pressing, and slicing), fluid crafting (sauces, juices, ciders), and crop processing (turning raw ingredients into useful stuff). It’s got about a dozen new machines and crafting recipes that fit into existing mod setups pretty cleanly.

Key Features

Fluid Production

Make your own sauces, juices, and ciders with the new squeezers and mixing machines. Tomatoes go into the squeezer to make tomato sauce. Melons or melon slices make melon juice. Apple cider comes from mixing apples, sugar, and ethanol. Bottle everything up using the bottling machine to store and use later.

Crop Enhancement with Rich Soil

Create Rich Soil by mixing compost with water in the bottling machine. Plant this in your garden cloches to boost yields on crops from Immersive Engineering, Farmers Delight, and vanilla Minecraft. It’s a solid way to get more out of your farming setup without needing expensive fertilizer systems.

Food Cutting and Processing

Use the metal press to slice cakes and pies into portions, or cut wheat dough into raw pasta. The sawmill handles wood processing too. Both machines do double duty, keeping your crafting space compact.

Grain and Flour Milling

Convert wheat into wheat flour. Turn haybales into wheat flour. Crush rice bales to get rice. The metal press and other machines handle all the grinding and crushing needed to turn raw crops into cooking ingredients.

Other Additions

Get tree bark from logs using the sawmill. Deconstruct wooden cabinets the same way. Combine wheat dough with lime dye to make slimeballs if you’re into that sort of thing.

Installation Guide

This mod requires Forge mod loader. Install the correct version for your Minecraft installation:

1. Download Minecraft Forge for your version
2. Install Forge
3. Download the Engineers Delight mod file below
4. Drop the .jar file into your .minecraft/mods folder
5. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile
