How do I actually use the different colored wires?

Just craft redstone dust with your dye color to make a colored wire block. Place it and use a redstone source on it. The colored wires only connect to the same color, so you get total control.

Can I connect colored redstone to vanilla redstone?

The common redstone dust item bridges them. Use common dust when you need signals to cross between colored wires and vanilla redstone.

Dyeable Redstone Signal Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) - Colored Wires

The Dyeable Redstone Signal mod adds 16 different colored redstone wires to Minecraft. Each color can be crafted with a matching dye and redstone dust, letting you build way more complex circuits without the usual redstone wire chaos. Colors don’t interact with each other, so you can run parallel wires right next to each other. That’s impossible with vanilla redstone.

Main Features

16 Colored Redstone Wires

Craft redstone wires in any dye color you want. Red, blue, green, purple, you name it. They work just like normal redstone but they only connect to their own color. Perfect for organizing messy circuits.

Isolated Circuits

This is the big one. Since different colors don’t interact, you can place two redstone wires running parallel to each other without them connecting. Try doing that with vanilla redstone and you’ll get signal interference. Not here.

Common Redstone Dust

There’s a new common redstone item that connects to any colored wire. Use it to bridge signals between different colors when you actually need them to talk to each other.

Common Repeater

A repeater that works with all the colored wires. Same delay mechanics as vanilla repeaters, but it actually looks good with the mod’s aesthetic.

How to Install

You’ll need Minecraft Forge or Fabric installed first. Then just drop the mod file in your .minecraft/mods folder and launch.
