Can I control which dimension I enter when I sleep?

No. The dimension you end up in is random each time you sleep. You might visit the Dream Dimension one night and the Nightmare Dimension the next. That's part of the fun.

Is it safe to sleep in the Nightmare Dimension?

No. The Nightmare Dimension is extremely dangerous with hostile mobs everywhere. We recommend bringing armor and weapons if you plan to explore it.

Do I keep my items if I die in these dimensions?

The standard Minecraft death rules apply. You'll drop your items and respawn at your spawn point, so bring backup gear if you're exploring the Nightmare Dimension.

Can I use this data pack with other mods or data packs?

Most data packs work together fine. If you run into issues with specific mods or packs, try disabling them one at a time to find the conflict.

Will this data pack affect my existing world save?

The data pack will work with any existing world, but you'll need to load it after installing the pack for the new dimensions to become available.

Dreams Data Pack 1.18.1 adds two completely new dimensions to explore when you sleep. Hop in a bed and you’ll either wake up in the peaceful Dream Dimension or the dangerous Nightmare Dimension. The choice isn’t yours though, each time you sleep, you never know which world you’ll end up in. It’s a simple concept that totally changes how you play.

What You Get

Dream Dimension

A serene, peaceful world full of lush trees and blooming flowers. Perfect if you want to relax and explore without worrying about constant danger. Build here, gather resources, or just wander around enjoying the calm atmosphere.

Nightmare Dimension

A twisted, hostile realm where death lurks around every corner. Teleporting Ghasts, flying Creepers, and massive Phantoms patrol this dimension. Only attempt this if you’re confident in your combat skills. The rewards are worth it if you survive.

How to Install

Installation is straightforward. Place the downloaded file in your datapacks folder inside your world directory. Then load your world and the pack will activate automatically.
