Double Jump Data Pack Overview
This data pack lets you jump multiple times in a row. In vanilla Minecraft, you get one jump per button press. With Double Jump, you can leap into the air again before hitting the ground, giving you the ability to clear high obstacles and explore in new ways. It’s built for map makers and uses commands to give players the double jump ability.
How It Works
The data pack adds two simple commands you can use to control jumping:
- Give players double jumps with
/scoreboard players set @s doubleJump 1. You can stack multiple jumps by setting the value higher. - Reset the jump counter with
/function dj:tools/resetto clear the double jump count back to 0.
Installation
Setting up is straightforward. Extract the data pack file and drop it into your world’s datapacks folder. If you need detailed steps, check out our full guide: How To Download & Install Data Packs
