Does Don't Even Try work on Minecraft versions newer than 1.10.2?

It was built for 1.10.2, so other versions are hit or miss. Levitation mechanics and some redstone setups changed across versions, so you'll probably run into broken levels if you try it on 1.12 or later.

Do I need any mods or resource packs to play this map?

No mods needed. The map is self-contained. Just drop it in your saves folder and load it in vanilla Minecraft 1.10.2.
